Glenn D'Cruz is an academic, theatre maker and video artist. He is the author of Midnight's Orphans: Anglo-Indians in Post/Colonial Literature (Peter Lang, 2006), Class Act: Melbourne Workers Theatre 1987-2007 (Vulgar Press, 2007) and co-editor of Digital Performance Futures in Australia (a special issue of Australasian Drama Studies (2014) and Contemporary Publics (Palgrave, forthcoming 2016). He has published widely in national and international journals in the areas of literary studies, performance studies, cinema studies and cultural studies, and was a member of Melbourne Workers Theatre from 2002-2008. His recent creative work has been exhibited at the Gertrude Street Gallery, Melbourne, the Walker Street Gallery, Dandenong. He is currently the Higher Degree Research Coordinator in the School of Communication and Creative Arts, and a member of the Persona, Celebrities, Publics (PCP) research group at Deakin University. His latest book, Teaching Postdramatic Theatre will appear in early 2017.
