Chris Braddock

Chris Braddock is an artist, writer and educator in the arena of visual arts, performance and performance philosophies. He is Professor of visual arts in the School of Art & Design, AUT University, New Zealand. He is Project Leader of the higher degree (MPhil & PhD) Art & Performance Research Group. From 2003-2013 he was Chair of AUT ST Paul St Gallery. He is author of Performing Contagious Bodies: Ritual Participation in Contemporary Art (2013). Recent art projects include Material Traces: Time and the Gesture curated by Amelia Jones at Galerie Leonard & Bina Ellen, Concordia University, Montréal (2013).
